International expansion

brainGuide offers a unique platform for high-ranking experts from the company-related service industry to market themselves and their knowledge online.

Our objective is to extend brainGuide to become a global experts' portal and knowledge network.

In the first national market, Germany, brainGuide has reached a strong market penetration and is one of the largest expert information providers in the business and legal sectors. At the moment, there exists no other comparable expert network.

brainGuide's internationalization will be implemented per language area and country in several steps:

  1. Extending the German portal by language areas
  2. Establishing national, localized portals
  3. Establishing country branches

According to the individual steps potential partners have to meet different requirements. Starting from the support in the respective language, via the active acquisition of local experts and content, to establishing branches in the respective country.

For steps 2 and 3 in particular, we are interested in partnerships for nearly any country that possesses a large service sector and high internet density.

The partners and/or the partner companies should contribute the following:

  • good country-specific linguistic skills
  • academic background
  • experience in dealing with high-ranking executives, academically educated people, entrepreneurs
  • good knowledge of the college/university system, further education opportunities, specialist media, trade associations
  • sales skills and talent
  • independent and entrepreneurial work capability
  • staff supervision ability
  • high affinity with the internet
  • very good command of English, ideally very good command of German
  • capital for investment in the branch to be established
